Rights Connections is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the awareness and understanding of human rights and social justice among young people, and empowers them to make a difference in their communities. Working with schools and NGO partners we deliver experiential learning opportunities for young people to identify, research and act to uphold human rights in real-life settings.

At the heart of each of our projects is the opportunity for young people to meet and interact with disadvantaged groups, and plan and implement a social action activity. We believe that through these connections and activities, young people gain a real understanding of the value of human rights, real-world knowledge of global issues and realise their potential to improve the world around them.

Our Values and Mission

We believe that change happens when people meet, individual connections are made and people realise their potential to create change. We also believe that children and young people have an innate sense of justice that needs to be fostered and developed. Through our projects we aim to educate and empower the next generation so that human rights can become a reality for everyone.
